Gold has recently completed the best quarter in the past 30 years, advancing by 16% compared to the end of 2015.
In a broader perspective, the quotations of over 1,200 USD /ounce at which gold can be bought now remain attractive: up to a maximum of 1,900 USD/ ounce reached in 2011, the yellow metal should appreciate by about 55%, but even down to a more modest target, namely the level of 1500 USD / ounce reached in 2013, there is room for an appreciation of 22%.
