Optimistic expectations for Romania, in 2015

In the first four months of the year, Romania obtained a budget surplus of almost RON 5 billion, money obtained from cuts in expenditures which were planned for this time of year.

Drastic cuts have been made in the capital spending sector, of almost RON 3 billion, which is a negative aspect and might have very important repercussions on the pace of economic development and on the growth of the Gross Domestic Product. Unfortunately, the scenario is repeating, as last year we were in the same situation, and these decisions will have negative consequences on the pace of economic growth in Romania, both in the medium-term, as well as in the long-term.
