At its 7th edition, the CIO Council Romania's National Conference, an exclusive event dedicated to the CIO / Head of IT community, provides to participants a unique platform for discussion and exchange of experiences, a transparent forum for identifying and solving real issues of CIOs and IT departments with members of the Association and the CIO community.
The Association of IT & Communications Directors of Romania "CIO Council" proposes to the IT and business community the debate on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its applicability in the business environment, cyber protection strategies and in the spheres of education, innovation and R & D in the annual conference of the members of the association.

Dr. Paul Vixie, a Internet pioneer and member of the Internet Hall of Fame due to his contribution to the Domain Name System (DNS) protocol and the development of anti-spam technologies, who designed and developed several DNS protocol extensions and applications, the author of several applications open source for the Internet, such as BIND 8, will be present in Bucharest with the CIOs community.
Elly van den Heuvel, secretary of the Netherlands Cyber Security Council and Dr. John McCarthy, representative of the British Computer Society Elite, will bring a public-private insight into the phenomenon of Artificial Intelligence in business, society and education.
The CIO Council's National Conference will bring together over 200-250 participants this year: CIOs, Head of IT, COO, CTO, IT professionals along with members of the business community.
The Association of IT & Communications Directors "CIO Council" represents Romania within the Pan-European Association of European CIO Association - EUROCIO starting in 2017.
EUROCIO is a nonprofit association registered in Brussels and has over 1000 members from 16 European countries representing over 700,000 IT staff. EuroCIO is the only entity that represents the CIO function in front of European authorities.
The Association of IT & Communications Directors "CIO Council" is a non-profit, voluntary and independent association of IT service providers and IT solutions that brings together a large group of CIOs and former CIOs from Romania.
