According to AGERPRES, Romania exported during the period 1 January to 31 October 2015, an amount of 8992.6 tons of honey, down to 5.3% from the same period in 2014, when exports averaged 9497.6 tons, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) concerning the balance of trade in agricultural products from Community's intra and extra countries.
The revenues from exports of honey totaled in the first 10 months of last year, 34.577 million euros, were almost similar to those reported in the period 1 January to 31 October 2014 (34.574 million euros).
