The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union adopted on October 23, 2024 and published in the Official Journal of the European Union the European Directive 2024/2831 regarding the improvement of working conditions in  working on platforms. The directive must be transposed by the member states into domestic legislation within 2 years (i.e. until December 2, 2026).
