Using collaborative platforms of social media type can generate savings of 30,000 dollars per year, per employee

According to a study conducted by IDC, at the request of SAP SE (NYSE: SAP), world leaders on the business and technology software solutions market, companies can lose up to 30,000 dollars each year, per employee, because of the lack of optimization of their efficiency at the work place.

The same study shows that collaborative platforms of social media type can help employees access useful information in real time, leading to measurable business results, thus compensating these losses.

According to the study, daily tasks, such as reading e-mails and formulating answers or browsing for information through e-mails can, in some cases, slow down the employees’s activities.
