The Romanian Customs Authority takes seriously the use of Artificial Intelligence in the risk analysis of imported goods

Artificial intelligence has started to transform more and more industrial sectors, with AI solutions being brought up, more recently, in the customs field as well. Romania, as a member of the European Union, is in a continuous process of modernization of customs services in order to facilitate trade, increase border security and improve the collection of duties and taxes.
