Key events in 2014 and forecast for the future of the Romanian economy

2014 was a hectic year from all points of view, in Romania, in Europe, but also in the rest of the world. The main event of the year was represented by the presidential elections in November, but the economy had an eventful year, as well

Adrian Crivii, General Manager of Darian DRS SA points out some of the most important events in 2014. Just to name a few, the average net salary increased twice this year and reached RON 900 on July 1st. This measure to increase the average net salary had already been announced in the government programme and was intended to support consumption growth, on one hand, and increase budgetary revenues, on the other hand.
