Card or cash?

Even though cash payments represent the oldest form of money circulation, card payment is a new non-cash option which is increasingly used in practice

In order to identify the weight of the two methods of payment in the consumption behaviour: cash or non-cash, EY Romania conducted a research during 31 March – 5 May, using a sample of 280 people, between 20 and 35 years old.

Therefore, the study entitled The buying experience in the digital consumers era shows that, in Romania, women are more open to using cards, while men prefer cash. The study was structured based on the buying stages of 5 types of products and 4 types of services, of which we extracted the relevant data for the paying method and the post-buying experience.
