Despite the sporadic advances in fighting bribery and corruption in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA), 51% of the companies surveyed in the study EY EMEIA Fraud Survey still perceive a widespread practice of corruption in their countries. In Romania, the percentage is 31% down from 2015, when the percentage was 39%.
