The Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary kicks off on Super Tuesday, March 5th, as Democrats Abroad members around the world participate in our official, party-run presidential primary. Democrats Abroad Romania will run 1 voting center(s) this month to help Americans abroad cast votes in the primary, which runs from March 5th to March 12th.
What is the Global Presidential Primary all about? Democrats Abroad is the official Democratic Party arm for the millions of Americans living outside the United States. As a result, we’re granted the right to run a Presidential primary every four years and send delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this August.
Who can participate? Americans living abroad who are 18 as of November 5, 2024 are eligible to vote in the Global Presidential Primary.
How can voters participate? Voters can either cast their ballots at voting centers in Romania, or vote remotely by email, postal mail, and even fax.
