Built in a standard format, the Prundu Bargaului unit is located at 136, Str Principala, with a total area of 420 sq.m. and a 305 sq.m. sales room. This is the third PROFI store in Bistrita county, adding to the two already existing in Bistrita municipality.
The Prundu Bargaului inauguration comes after PROFI’s opening its first store in Fagaras on August 14, the sixths in Brasov county, again in the standard format, with a total area of 505 sq.m. and a 338 sq.m. sales room.
Some 200.000 clients visit the PROFI stores daily in order to enjoy the more than 5000 products on sale here often for some of the best prices on the market. PROFI encourages local production and most of iits assortment is made in Romania. The PROFI success is to a considerable extent owed to the growing number of own brands that tend to add up to 20% of all the products.
Currently PROFI has approximately 4500 employees active in standard, City and Mall format stores in 95 localities in 36 counties. With its large number of stores, PROFI is the second largest food retailer in Romania.
