The VAT statement face to face with the pre-filled VAT statement: 4 months left for RO e-TVA calibration, from January 1, 2025

Today, September 5, 2024, the companies registered for VAT purposes received, according to the plan, the first pre-filled VAT statement prepared by the tax administration for July 2024 through RO e-TVA.

Where the VAT differences identified for local deliveries with rates of 19%, 9% and 5% exceeded the significance threshold of 5,000 lei and 20% between the pre-filled statement and the submitted VAT statement, taxpayers also received compliance notices. From public information, it is estimated that approximately 5-6% of taxpayers will receive compliance notices for the July 2024 VAT return on September 5.
