The sales of the Galaxy S7 smartphones have increased the Samsung's operational profit by 17.4% in Q2

According to AGERPRES, Samsung Electronics achieved in the second quarter of this year an operational profit of 8,100 billion won (6.98 billion dollars), up to 17.39% compared with 6,900 billion won in the same period last year, according to preliminary estimates released on Thursday.

This is the greatest operational profit achieved by the Samsung after the first quarter in 2014, and also exceeded analysts' estimates surveyed by Bloomberg News, who had expected an operating profit of 7,400 billion won.
