Romania benefits by 21.5 million euros for the National Beekeeping Program 2017-2019, a plus of 7,2 %

According to AGERPRES, the data released on Wednesday by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) show that Romania benefits of a budget of EUR 21.5 million for the National Beekeeping Programme 2017-2019, up to 7.2% compared to the sum allocated for this program in 2014-2016.

"The European Commission participate in the financing of the program actions by 50 % of the costs incurred by Romania for each action accessed, excluding VAT actions for the period 2017 - 2019 is 21.508.480 euros from euro 20.045.340 euros assigned for the period 2014 - 2016. The annual budget for the beekeeping programs notified by the Member States has been increased to 36 million euros, while Romania has an increase in the budget allocated to the 1.463.140 euro for the entire apiculture program for the period 2017 - 2019", shows MARD release sent to AGERPRES.
