Coca-Cola announced today the results of the study "Socio-Economic Impact of the Coca-Cola System in Romania", according to which the presence of this system on the local market generates an added-value of 448 million euros, the equivalent of 0.3 percent of the GDP.
More than half of this amount, generated by the entire value chain of Coca-Cola, is the contribution to the state budget - 241 million euros - and represents 0.8% of all taxes collected by the Romanian state. Also, each job at Coca-Cola generates an additional 12 places of employment in the economy.
