On April 3rd 2013, the HR community celebrated the most apreciated managers and the best HR initiatives and strategies, as well as the organizations where these projects were implemented.
The ceremony, organized by HR Club (the HR Professionals Associations in Romania) took place at theJW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, in the distinguished presence of over 230 HR Directors and specialists, CEOs and business leaders of some of the most important companies in Romania. With a total of 55 nominees (see here), the HR Community granted 10 awards.
Also, the jury has decided to grand “the Jury Special Award” to the project implemented by Junior Achievement Association, which was appreciated as being a modern, well-structured and easy-to-replicate way of educating the young generation on how to interact with employers.
This year, the industry with the most projects registrated in the competition is banking and insurance, but also very active were the HR specialists in IT & C. The most projects were registered in „most valuable Organizational Culture & Engagement project” category, followed by “most valuable Training and Development project” category.
The judging process was based on scores for every established criteria and the projects were judged by 2 types of juries: a jury formed by senior, renownedHR professionals, and after that, a jury of CEOs decided the winner from the shortlist (you can see the jury members here).
