The event will feature some of the most innovative projects based on artificial intelligence: Store of the Future, next-generation retail and cloud marketing, and Breath Base, a platform that uses advanced machine learning algorithms to diagnose diseases much faster and simpler lung cancer, including cancer.
During the event, they will build the dialogue context Philippe Rogge, Area President CEE, Microsoft, as well as speakers from Tecknoworks, Rockwell Automation, UiPath and Synerise.
"We hear more and more often about the transformational effect that artificial intelligence has and will have on the world in which we live, and among the dimensions that it addresses: business optimization, accelerating innovation and increasing productivity, addressing the issue of poverty, climate imbalances, creating treatments for incurable diseases today, improving educational systems, and how we interact and collaborate with each other. Microsoft has been investing in AI technologies for over 25 years, and today we are able to offer diverse solutions with concrete applicability in all industries, " said Violeta Luca, General Manager, Microsoft Romania.
Two of the projects presented at the event, Store of the Future and Breath Base, are an opportunity to open up the technology and innovation conversation with the current leaders of the Romanian business community.
Store of the Future is a unique solution developed by the Polish company Synerise with the help of Microsoft Azure, which improves customer experience, using artificial intelligence to analyze statistical data at each customer level and to increase sales and improve their experience.
Breathing data of patients undergoing eNOS examination stored in an online database are linked to the Breath Base, a platform based on artificial intelligence, to evaluate the most probable real-time diagnosis.
The platform allows collaboration between doctors and researchers to personalize patient treatment. The 20th event is part of Microsoft's vision that the company aims to strengthen understanding of the applicability of artificial intelligence at national level, helping to increase the technology sector and also making a valuable contribution at a social level.
According to the Eurostat survey of 2018, only 10.3% of Romanian enterprises are used in cloud computing. Moreover, the index of economy and digital society (DESI), calculated last year, places Romania at the last place in the European Union. DESI aims to measure the progress made by the EU Member States towards an economy and a digital society.
