Bianca has 15 years’ experience in what regards the Romanian and EU VAT legislation and in providing advisory focused on Indirect Taxation.
She has been involved in challenges against the decisions issued by the Romanian tax authorities, and has advised clients operating in various industries: energy, public sector, real estate, agriculture and manufacturing industry.
Bianca took part in the PHARE Project, helped with bringing in line Romanian VAT Legislation with the EU VAT Principles and holds an AIIT tax certification.
Lucian Dumitru, Senior Manager, direct taxes:
Lucian holds a Master of Public Administration awarded by the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest and an ADIT tax certification.
With more than six years of experience mainly in transfer pricing (i.e. documentation, planning and TP policies, APAs, advice on TP compliance obligations, support during transfer pricing audits and litigation cases) and direct tax projects (corporate income tax, withholding tax, local taxes), he advised clients operating in various industries such as: retail, industrial products, real estate, energy, pharmaceuticals and service centers. Before joining Mazars he worked for a BIG4 company.
Liviu Gheorghiu, Senior Manager, transfer pricing:
A graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, he is a certified tax adviser and member the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants (CCFR).
Liviu boasts over nine years of experience in the field of finance and taxation, mainly transfer pricing assistance services to domestic and non-resident clients (documentation including the one based on the OECD model; TP policy in relation to intra-group transactions; advanced Pricing Arrangements (APAs); providing advice on specific transfer pricing issues); but also international taxation, corporate tax, withholding tax. Companies operating in industries like Automotive, Energy, IT, Agriculture, Transport, Real Estate and Manufacturing industry benefitted from his advice. Before joining Mazars he worked for BIG4 and state companies.
