Jones Lang LaSalle appoints a new manager for the Industrial Agency department in Romania

Jones Lang LaSalle announces the recent appointment of Cristina Pop as Head of the Industrial Agency department

Her predecessor – Irina Iliescu, worked for the company in Romania for 6 years, setting up the industrial department for King Sturge and subsequently for Jones Lang LaSalle. ”Irina  has had  a solid contribution to the company, driving the results of the industrial department, with over 45 deals signed and 200,000 sqm  leased and sold. Now she decided to relocate to London and Jones Lang LaSalle Romania takes this opportunity to thank Irina for all her accomplishments over the past six years” states the Managing Director of the office in Bucharest, Gijs Klomp.

Cristina Pop is a proven professional, having six years expertise in the local real estate market. Her previous role as an Asset Manager for Valad in Romania involved leasing, budgeting, property reporting, landlord representation and asset management. Among her major accomplishments was the leasing of cca. 40,000 sq m of industrial, commercial and offices spaces.

In respect of her recent appointment, Cristina declares:

”During the last couple of years, the industrial sector  became tougher and tougher, and the Clients’ requirements switched significantly, but also their expectations in terms of rents and lease agreements terms. It is crucial these days for consultancy firms to be able to adapt to the market fast and to provide the clients with the advice they need, but also to combine the clients requirements with the landlords expectations. This is mainly depending on expertise of the  employees,  the quality of the people, their abilities and professional conduct. I am pleased to join the Jones Lang LaSalle team, where I have found from the very first day both high level professionals as well as a strong dynamic work environment.”
