Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced today that its EMC & Safety laboratory, located at the company’s headquarters in Athens, Greece, has been granted ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation. This certificate was given by ESYD (Hellenic Accreditation System), a Greek non-profit legal entity of private law with the purpose of implementing and managing the National Accreditation System supporting clients worldwide.
By demonstrating excellent technical competence and outstanding ability to generate valid, accurate and impartial results, Intracom Telecom becomes the first, awarded by ESYD, laboratory for RF spectrum measurements in Greece. Now, the company’s recognized reports can be accepted from one country to another without the need for further testing.
The laboratory is fully equipped to perform compliance tests on telecommunication and radio communication equipment. Specifically, test capabilities include measurements for Conducted Emissions, Radiated Emissions, Harmonics Emissions, as well as Voltage Fluctuations measurements.
ESYD has conducted an on-site assessment, carried out by a team of assessors with deep knowledge of the relevant technical subject and experience in the assessment of quality management systems, granting the accreditation certificate. It is worth noting that ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is considered as the most reputable quality standard for testing and calibration laboratories.
