Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced that the association of companies INTRACOM TELECOM - GRIVAS S.A. undertook the implementation of a project that uses specialized mobile devices connected to mobile phones and applications that are linked to international Law Enforcement Authorities in order to provide verification and authentication control of travel documents, verify fingerprints and other biometric data.
The project was awarded to the association by the Hellenic Coast Guard after an international public tender and it is related to the supply of Intracom Telecom's innovative Command & Control SISC2 software platform that will be customized specifically to the requirements of the Hellenic Coast Guard. Thecomplex queries extension of the SISC2 system offers the ability to display results on specialized mobile devices from complex searches performed in databases, applications and third-party systems.
