Intracom Telecom Announces Distributor Partnership with Crossover for the Canadian Market

UltraLink™-GX80, which is ideally suited for use in demanding transport applications requiring fiber-like capacity up to 10 Gbit/s full duplex, is in compliance to the Canadian regulatory authority’s (ISED) requirements

Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, has announced a partnership with Crossover, a dynamic North American telecommunication equipment distributor, to promote Intracom Telecom's innovative E-Band radios which are designed to optimize network costs and provide the ultra-capacities demanded by 4G and 5G backhaul & fronthaul applications across Canada.

More specifically, Crossover, will be focusing on promoting the UltraLink™-GX80, a high-performance, ultra-high capacity E-Band (71-76/ 81-86 GHz) radio designed for use in demanding wireless transport use cases. UltraLink™-GX80, which is ideally suited for use in demanding transport applications requiring fiber-like capacity up to 10 Gbit/s full duplex, is in compliance to the Canadian regulatory authority’s (ISED) requirements. In 2+0 XPIC configuration UltraLink™-GX80 achieves throughputs of up to 20 Gbit/s full duplex, while in Dual Band configuration it can be combined with microwave radios - third party radios included – to enhance the capacity, up to 10Gbit/s, of links up to 10km and beyond. It is a uniquely versatile radio, ideally suited for 4G/4G+/5G RAN backhaul, midhaul and fronthaul, as well as, any transport application in Ethernet-based networks as a fiber substitute. At the same time, being a fully outdoor radio, UltraLink™-GX80 minimizes deployment footprint and cost.
