Subway®, the world's largest network of small business owners and the world's largest fast-food chain, has recognized 35 Business Development Agents for their remarkable achievements at the Leadership Annual Conference which took place in Dallas.

Among those who have been recognized for their work are Rumen Radev, Subway Romania Business Development Agent for the Bucharest-Ilfov area. The GUEST SERVICE EXCELLENCE Award was won by four BDA teams that have consistently excellent results and very welcome feedback from customers. Ivan Todorov and Rumen Radev have raised this prize for their work in Romania.

Around the world, within Subway, there are more than 300 Business Development Agents (BDAs) in more than 100 countries and every state in the US.

They are constant support for Subway franchise owners, helping them with the business performance they run and providing support for brand building in emerging markets. Often franchise owners, Development Agencies (BDAs) are entrepreneurs, coaches, mentors and leaders.

"The winners were recognized for different reasons but they all have one thing in common: they continue to be the best in what they do, to be exceptional leaders on their territory and a source of inspiration for their colleagues through work through dedication and innovation which they demonstrate on a daily basis, "said Trewar Haynes, the current Subway CEO.

The prestigious CO-FOUNDERS AWARD, named in honor of Subway co-founders, Dr. Peter Buck and Fred Deluca, was won by the BDA team in Puerto Rico.

To demonstrate the integrity and the overcome of challenges in order to deliver excellent customer service, Wei Jia from China and brothers, Raghu and Rohit Marwaha from California received the LEADERSHIP AWARD.

This year, three outstanding people were honored with OUSTSTANDING COMMUNITY PARTNER AWARD: Joe Russell from Alabama, who along with his team constantly raise money for local organizations such as Food Banks, United Way, Boys and Girls Club and others; Donna Curry from Nevada, a long-lasting activist for supporting the autism, and Jackie Jones from Panama, who promotes education and social inclusion.
