EY Romania assisted TMF Group, a leading provider of compliance and administrative services, in the acquisition of Contexpert, a top-tier Romanian company specialized in accounting, audit, tax, and payroll services. The transaction marks another milestone in the development of TMF Group’s operations in Romania, further expanding its footprint in southeastern Europe.
Contexpert, which was founded 26 years ago, has become a respected player in the Romanian accounting industry with a broad portfolio consisting of national and multinational companies.
TMF Group is a leading provider of administrative services, helping clients invest and operate safely around the world with 10,000 experts and 125 offices in 86 jurisdictions.
The EY teams, led by Peter Latos and Miruna Enache, provided financial and tax support to TMF Group during the transaction process, working closely with management to help achieve a successful outcome.
