Ioana Sarbu joins the EY team as Senior Manager in the Tax Department, where she will coordinate tax advisory and delivery of tax-related client services in Cluj and Timisoara.
Ioana has 10 years of exemplary tax consulting experience, providing tax, accounting and M&A services to several large corporations. With a solid background in heading advisory teams, she will coordinate our client services activities in the Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara offices.
Earlier, as a consultant for Mazars Romania and Haarmann, Hemmelrath & Partner, Ioana was responsible for major audit, tax advisory and financial advisory projects. She has assisted clients in tax inspections, conducted due diligence projects, structured transactions from a fiscal point of view and carried out tax audits, besides having considerable Direct Tax and VAT consulting experience.

Ioana is a member of several international and local professional bodies such as ACCA, CCFR, CAFR and CECCAR. She is also a qualified trainer on tax and accounting matters.
