The Economic and Social Council has a new Secretary General. On April 2, 2025, Mrs. Elena Lorena Stoian, as a candidate proposed by the National Council of Small and Medium-sized Private Enterprises in Romania (CNIPMMR), was elected as Secretary General of the Economic and Social Council, in accordance with article 31 of Law no. 248/2013, republished, on the organization and functioning of the Economic and Social Council (CES), in conjunction with article 94 of the Regulation on the organization and functioning of the CES.
