Mihaela Florea, from Gh. M. Murgoci National College, Braila qualified for the second time in the world final in America. Last year Mihaela took the 4th place at Power Point.
Adrian Boier and Adrian Muntean, from Tiberiu Popoviciu High School, Cluj-Napoca, will represent Romania at the Word and Power Point sections respectively. Everyone will prepare for the next time for both the baccalaureate and the competition in America. Every year, young people who qualify for the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship inspire other colleagues to certify in the use of Microsoft Office applications and then join the world competition.
"I'm glad I'm going to New York because I will meet young people from different parts of the globe who come from different cultures. I want to pursue an IT career and all of the MOS certifications I have gained helped me in the applications I did at the English universities. On a personal level, working with Microsoft Office applications greatly enhances the ability to do things quickly, ie time management, "said Mihaela Florea, the Romanian representative at the Excel section.
The Microsoft Office Specialist Competition is the only Microsoft-accredited competition to provide a unique test platform so that pupils and students around the world can demonstrate their experience with Microsoft Office tools.

In the top of the most interested counties to qualify for this year's championship were Braila and Vrancea, next to Bucharest. The most difficult section was considered Excel, and the candidate's favorite was Word.
The Microsoft Office Specialist National Championship was organized in Bucharest by the EOS Foundation in partnership with Certipro Education and Microsoft Romania, as part of the most prestigious event validating skills for using Microsoft Office productivity applications in the world.
