The growing need for money to finance pandemic deficits is forcing governments around the world to introduce new taxes or increase existing ones. Even the European Commission has announced that it is considering the implementation of three new taxes, from which it expects in the period 2023-2030 additional revenues of almost 17 billion euros, to support the NextGeneration program.
