The Ministry of Finance proposes, through a draft emergency ordinance, a series of amendments to the Fiscal Code regarding value added tax (VAT). The purpose of these amendments is to transpose certain European directives into Romanian legislation and to avoid triggering infringement proceedings for incorrect transposition of certain provisions.
