In the first half of the year, the turnover from retail trade increased with 4,8%, compared to the same period of last year, a major part in this trend being played by sales in food, beverages and tobacco and the commercialization of fuel, according to the data published on Tuesday by NIS.
On the other hand, at the end of June, this year, the turnover for retail trade (except for vehicles and motorcycles), as gross series, registered a 7.9% jump due to increases recorded in sales of food, beverages and tobacco (+22%), retail trade of fuel for vehicles and motorcycles in specialized stores (+1,3%) and in sales of non-alimentary products (+1%).
