In Romania, the guarantee-return system ("SGR") must become functional, according to the legal provisions, starting with November 30, 2023, the date when consumers will pay a guarantee of 0.50 RON when buying a bottled drink, following that , after emptying the packaging, to take it to one of the return points organized by the traders to receive the value of the initially paid guarantee.
