The BSA study shows that there are costly computer security threats by unlicensed software use

According to the latest global survey of the BSA on software, computer users in Romania use unlicensed software at an alarming rate, despite the fact that was demonstrated a strong connection between unlicensed software and cyber attacks.

The Seizing Opportunity Through License Compliance study (Trad: capitalisation of opportunities through correct licensing), which emphasizes the fact that in Romania the level of software installed on computers without appropriate licenses shall be raised to 60 percent. This represents a fall of 2 percentage points compared with 2013, the figure indicated previously by the BSA study.
