SMEs' perception of the relationship with commercial banks

The present research aimed to analyze the way in which small and medium enterprises, be they micro-enterprises, small or medium enterprises, evaluate their relationship with commercial banks.

According to IFC data, 40 percent of all SMEs in emerging countries annually have an unmet financing need of about $ 5.2 trillion [1]. Of this amount, approximately $ 800 billion goes to SMEs in Europe and Central Asia. The opportunity cost of not realizing the potential development of SMEs is given by the fact that they are the main employer in any economy.
