A series of provisions governing the exploration and exploitation of deposits in the offshore perimeters of the Black Sea were amended by law at the end of May 2022. Through these amendments, the provisions of the Offshore Law were extended to deep onshore perimeters (over 3,000 meters) , which shows the desire of the legislator to highlight the onshore deposits of Romania, not to be neglected as potential.
