Raiffeisen Bank study: Festival participants prefer digital payments, and the spending budget for 32% of them varies between 300 and 500 lei

Digital payments are at the top of preferences in terms of payment methods during festivals, followed by payment with a physical card, with a phone, with a payment bracelet offered by the organizers, with a smart watch and 45% still prefer cash

Festivals are becoming an important socializing and relaxation landmark for Romanians, and summer is the preferred season for such events. According to the latest study conducted by Raiffeisen Bank in partnership with Appinio, 7 out of 10 Romanians, aged between 18 and 65, attend at least once a year a festival in Romania. Approximately one third of the study respondents go to 2-3 festivals and only 4% attend more than 3 such events.
