PwC Romania study: The Romanian capital market continues to expand at a slower pace than in 2021, amid economic and geopolitical uncertainty

2021 was a very good year for the Romanian capital market, with three listings of shares on the regulated segment, after a two-year break and a record level of market capitalization

The capitalization of companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), both the regulated segment and SMT, reached RON 229 billion at the end of the first quarter of 2022, 20% above the level reached in the same period last year, but below the registered level on December 31, 2021, according to the report “Multiples of valuation multiples of companies listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange”, prepared by PwC Romania.
