According to Teamshare, one of the most important integrated e-commerce platform in Romania, over 30% online retailer's traffic is generated, on average, from mobile devices, but there are also stores that exceed 50% of their total traffic on smartphones or tablets.
The number of Romanians that search information by using mobile devices before placing an order in an online shop is increasing. The sites with the highest traffic generated from these devices usually targets female audience, offering products with low and medium price, like toys, children items and clothing, cosmetics and jewlery.
