According to Ludwik Sobolewski, Poland and Romania are the two largest countries in the region, both regarding their population and their GDP (measured by the purchasing power of the population), reports AGERPRES. Together, the two countries are a considerable market, inhabited by almost 58 million people, with just a million fewer than in Italy (60.8 million), Great Britain (64.8 million) and France (66.4 million). Moreover, Poland and Romania both have stable economies.
