Europe is leader in attracted capital with five out of Top 10 largest transactions at a global level

The activity of initial public listings at a global level (IPO) registered a slow acceleration this year compared to 2014, registering 252 public offers which attracted USD 38.2 billion in the first trimester.

Thus, we are dealing with a decrease of 4% in the volume and of 19% in the number of listings compared to the same period of last year – shows the trimestral bulletin published by EY, Global IPO Trends: 2015 Q1. Compared to the last trimester of 2014, there was a decrease of 31% in listings and of 47% in attracted capital.
