EURO 7: TMD FRICTION PUSHES THE LIMITS TO REDUCE BRAKE DUST EMISSIONS

TMD Friction, global leader in the production of OE braking systems, provides details on the upcoming Euro 7 directive and its commitment to minimize dust emissions generated by braking

The new Euro 7 standards, which will enter into force at the end of 2026, put dust emissions generated by braking in the foreground for the first time. TMD Friction, a leading manufacturer of braking solutions, has actively contributed since 2016 to the Particle Measurement Program (PMP) coordinated by the ONU Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), helping to develop methodologies, test cycles and test benches for measuring brake dust emissions.
