EU regulation against deforestation: high risks and 4% fines for companies

In the context of climate change and environmental degradation, the European Union adopted in 2023 Regulation no. 1115 regarding making available on the Union market and the export from the Union of certain basic products and products associated with deforestation and forest degradation and regarding repealing of Regulation no. 995/2010.
