Beyond an awareness of the importance of respecting and assuring the rights of the individuals concerned, the increased interest in GDPR provisions has been created by the harsh sanctions that the new law provides

Specifically, depending on the obligations that were violated and the severity of the situation, companies are liable to administrative fines of up to EUR 20 million or up to 4% of the global annual turnover corresponding to the previous financial year, taking into account the most great value among them.
