Corporate responsibility in Romania – Strategic tool and part of business model

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) starts to borrow from the field of global dynamics, as Romanian companies and executives become more aware of its relevance to differentiating companies, according to the study “CSR Trends and Realities in Romania” conducted by CSRMedia.ro and Ernst & Young Romania.

The main findings of the study show that:

 

  • More than half of CSR projects in Romania reach at most an average value of EUR 10,000
  • Half of companies consider 2013 as respect of CRS budget, comparable to 2012
  • Most private companies focus their CSR endeavors on education and health

 

 

The study researched through a survey 77 top managers and specialists that run CSR projects in 2012 and stated their estimations for the next period of time. The study has been developed between April 10 – Mai 10 and about 54 percent of the surveyed companies register revenues over EUR 10 million.
