Consumers worldwide have less confidence in insurance companies than in banks

The consumers’ level of trust in insurance companies dropped to 70%, compared to 82% in banks, mainly because of the low interaction between insurers and their clients, according to the 2014 edition of the EY study entitled Global Consumer Insurance Survey

Consumers indicate the fact that they want a more frequent communication, more valuable and personalized, compared to the current situation in which only a few insurers do that. Actually, 44% of consumers declare that they have not had any kind of communication with the insurer in the past 18 months.
