Unlike other state aid schemes that strictly financed unstarted renewable energy production projects from wind or solar sources, the Contracts for Difference Scheme (CfD) allows interested applicants to submit financing applications even if they have concluded the first binding legal commitment or started the actual construction of the electricity production facility after July 20, 2022.
