At a global level, organisations continue to remain unprepared for cyber attacks

The main vulnerability of companies to cyber crime is represented by careless and uninformed employees, while the theft of financial information is the biggest threat

Most organisations (67%) are facing an increase in the risk level of internal information security, and a third of them (37%) do not possess real-time information regarding cyber risks which could help them respond to these threats, shows the annual EY report about information security, Get Ahead of Cybercrime. The EY report is underpinned by a survey conducted on 1,825 organisations from over 60 countries.
