The appetite for mergers and acquisitions in the media and entertainment industry (M&E) reaches the highest level in the last three years

A record number of media and advertising companies are expected to engage in mergers and acquisitions activities in the next 12 months, according to the eleventh edition of the EY study, Capital Confidence Barometer: Media & Entertainment

The study is underpinned by a survey conducted amongst over 1,600 senior executives, of which 94 from M&E companies, from over 60 countries.

According to the study, senior executives expect the values of transactions to be less impressive in the next twelve months compared to six months ago.
