Starting with February 2015, the above named Emergency Ordinance, mentiones the new taxation scheme on withholding at source for all the incomes obtained from gambling, as follows: 1% for income under 15,000 Eur, 16% for incomes under 100,000 Eur and 25% for incomes above 100,000.
Income obtained from online gambling, slot-machine, tickets or poker festivals are not taxed at source. Individuals earning such income, have the obligation to file the statement regarding their realized earning, until 25th of May of the following year for the previous one.
