With #alittlehelp from BRD, the young Romanian robot designers have achieved an extraordinary performance at FTC Russia Open 2017

AutoVortex team, made up of students from several high-schools in Bucharest, managed an extraordinary performance at the international robotics competition FIRST Tech Challenge Russia Open 2017, which took place between 3 and 5 February, at Sochi.

Under the guidance of coordinating professor Ionut Preda, the students won first place, reaching a new world record in the robotics competitions from the series FORST Tech Challenge in this season. BRD – Groupe Société Générale supported them, by offering #alittlehelp to take part in the international competitions.

AutoVortex Romania received, during the first edition of FTC Russia Open 2017 from this year a record scor of 295 points, the previous record being established by a team from the USA (290 points) a week before.
